Its latest masterpiece: The 'Angel's Wings' Entry Hall table.
Our unique artistic compositions are hand made using exceptional exotic tropical wood.
God's very own signature is embedded deep in the heart of each one of our pieces of wood. That is why our master pieces, with their exquisite natural colors and patterns, could never be duplicated by man.
Where and when grand paintings produced by man, command asronomical prices at auctions and consistently appreciate in value, we often wonder what is the real value of some of God's most exquisite and unique works of art.
Consider for example that strikingly outstanding butterfly in the picture below.
Could any grand master have ever painted such an original and unique work of art within the interior of a solid wooden chrysalid?
Our artists are fully conscious of the fact that while they can use God's works of art, they could never reproduce any of His very own exclusive creations.
That is why the process of singleing out the best logs, from the dense tropical forest, requires many years of experience and long walks through the forest. Only occasionally our team identifies that prized rare special tree. By virtue of its external shape, they recognize that it promises to reveal a 'Hors Concours' master piece drawn by God within its heart.
Indeed, God's transcendent Art work concealed in the heart of the wood has first to be discerned through the opaque bark and the outer growth of the tree. Our team must also respect the fact that it is only the few trees that need to be removed that will be made available to them.
Those very few rare trees are generally removed to make room for indigenous trees to be planted. That periodic activity ensures the continued healthy growth of the overall forest.
Furthermore, in order not to harm the fragile forest floor, no heavy equipment is allowed therein. The logs have to be removed by hand up to the side of the trail. From there they are transported to Saint Joseph's Carpentry Shop.
After a drying period of about two years at our premises, the wood is hand sawn just like Saint Joseph did over two thousand years ago.
The sawn pieces are then inspected meticulously. It is often after many days of intense examination that they are sorted according to the unique colors and patterns that each piece displays. Specific pieces of wood are chosen to best match a particular design drawn by our artist.
For example, the 'Angel Wings' that were revealed in the very heart of that particular wood have inspired our artists to create this outstanding entry hall table. It is a tribute to God, who, we repeat, is the only one who can introduce His brush to paint within the very heart of a dense, tall standing sacred and majestic tree.
It is only by Using God's unique art work to begin with, that we manage to maximize the exciting and captivating visual appeal of any one of our 'One and Only' master pieces! Like any grand old painting, they are worthy of being displayed in the most famous art museums.
For, it must also be stated that the transcendent examples of: 'God's Art Work within Wood' that are fashioned in Saint Joseph' Carpentry shop are also a tribute to our whole team of artists and carpenters.
With many years of experience, they have learnt how to capture God's prompting messages through His creation. They recognize that God uses a palette with an infinite variety of colors to paint His designs of choice in and across a multitude of widely varied canvas found in nature.
Only God, the ultimate creator of it all, is capable of using an invisible brush to adorn the heart of a chosen tree with the most diverse natural colors to end up forming the most original subjects.
Praise be to God! To create the Angel Wings table, our artists were inspired by God to discern that the intricate weaving of arteries and veins across the raw wooden boards in front of their eyes, in fact, exposed the wings of angel Gabriel.
With his spread out wings, they saw him hugging the very heart of that tree. Once they had contemplated Gabriel's wings long enough, our artists heard him speak loud and clear to their own heart!
He, from then on, guided them as to how to conceive and finally deliver this gorgeous 'baby'. Because nothing is impossible to God, that baby immediately stood on its own two legs upon birth.
In closing, we need to mention that once the drawings are completed and the precious pieces of fine wood have been selected, they are placed with absolute confidence in the hands of our team of God loving artist/carpenters who constantly ask the Holy Spirit and Saint Joseph to assist them in their work.
The head of the Saint Joseph Carpentry Shop has over 30 years experience in fine furniture creation. He has hand crafted many timeless and priceless unique pieces. He takes so much pride in fashioning every challenge placed in his hands that our 'one of a kind' furniture is very much in demand. Indeed it sells and is shipped all over the world.
We would not be surprised to hear some day that one of our heart to art creations with wood has fetched an astronomical price at an international auction.
After all, our omnipotent partner, the matchless artist of all times, is God. He alone IS... At St. Joseph's Carpentry shop, we only frame, polish and highlight His work as best we can. Joseph Louis, our shop owner hopes to be recognized for his creations in wood just as Louis Tiffany became famous for what he achieved with glass.
